Ayrton and Sharity first met in 2015 during a maternity shoot for Sharity’s cousin, Mariella. It was a quick hello, nothing more until the summer of 2016, when they ran into each other again through mutual friends. This time, something just clicked. After months of late-night chats, dinners, movies, stargazing, and cruising around in Ayrton’s red Subaru, they realized there was something real growing between them.
They officially started dating in September 2016, and every moment since has been part of their favorite story.
This photo on the right? That was the day Ayrton nervously gave Sharity her first pop kiss and then ran away. It was sweet, awkward, and totally them.

February 2017
February 14th, 2017 was one for the books. Ayrton had been nervously plotting something sweet.. He even asked Sharity’s parents for their blessing ahead of time. His plan? A low-key, clever surprise.
They went shore fishing at Malmok, something they both enjoyed. Ayrton caught a fish early on (classic), while Sharity was still patiently waiting. What she didn’t know was that Ayrton had secretly attached a little note to her fishing line that read: “Will you be my girlfriend?”
When she finally felt a tug, she thought she had her first catch of the night. Instead, she reeled in the surprise of a lifetime. She paused, read the note, and immediately burst out laughing before giving Ayrton a big, excited “YES!”
And the best part? They caught the whole moment on camera.. Genuine laughs, pure joy, and Ayrton trying to keep his cool. It was goofy, sweet, and so perfectly them.
That was the night their story officially began, with a fishing line, a clever plan, and a whole lot of love.
Our First Trip
March 2017
In March 2017, Sharity and Ayrton took their first trip together to Bonaire. Just a month earlier, Ayrton had been in a life-changing car accident, and this getaway became the peaceful reset he didn’t know he needed. Away from everything, they spent their days reconnecting with nature, soaking in quiet moments, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was a healing trip, filled with laughter, warmth, and love.. This trip marked the true beginning of their journey together.
Ayrton Proposes
September 2023
In September 2023, Ayrton proposed to Sharity at Waterdrinker Farm in Long Island. He had been planning it for months but had no idea how to secretly buy the ring. Until Jackie, Sharity’s matron of honor, stepped in to help and had it shipped to her home in New York. Ayrton originally had another location in mind, but the weather had other plans. After days of rain, the sun finally came out, and they decided to visit Waterdrinker. As they walked through a beautiful sunflower field, Ayrton knew instantly, it was the perfect spot. Nervous and overwhelmed with emotion, he proposed without even opening the ring box. Sharity said yes (though she did think, “Wait… is he proposing without a ring?”). It was perfect.
The Ring
Sharity has always had a love for gemstones.. Each one unique, full of color, and meaning. For years, she admired a jewelry artist on Instagram who creates custom rings using rare and beautiful stones. So when Ayrton started planning the proposal, he knew exactly who to go to. Choosing the ring was easy: a rare seafoam tourmaline, surrounded by natural diamonds and set in rose gold. The colors complemented each other perfectly: soft, vibrant, and full of life, just like their relationship. Earlier this year, Sharity reached out to Brianna, the talented artist behind the ring, to create a custom wedding band to match. Together, the rings are more than jewelry. They’re a symbol of intention, thoughtfulness, and a love story crafted just for them.
